Position : Head of Business Development - Remote
We are looking for a Head of Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities and target customers.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Business Development:
- Lead the business development team to generate and qualify leads.
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue.
- Negotiate and close deals with key clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing business development team.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Financial Performance:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Innovation and Partnerships:
- Identify opportunities for innovation and product development.
- Explore strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required profile for job ad : Head of Business Development - Remote
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools.
