  • Responsibilities and Duties As a country director I was in charge of supervising programs and projects. I manage and supervise a team of employees. I assist in the screening and hiring of new staff. I provide training for employees and develop training programs for staff. I also develop the strategic plan and ensures that the operational plans and strategic plans of the organization are met. I was responsible for managing all the resources of the organization in the country. I report back to the Management team in United States FCN head office. I was also required to prepare mid-year and end-year reports on progress made. Technical Skills I have computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Ms Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint C, C++, Java and HTML. I have critical skills to analyze and interpret basic accounting data and have basic budget preparation skills, too. I have procurement skills and negotiation skills. Desirable Qualities As a country director I have good diplomatic and interpersonal skills. I have good communication skills, written and oral and I am able to coordinate teams and I am self-starter. I have good leadership and administration skills and relevant experience in the field of management. As acountry director I network and maintain a good working relationship with other stakeholders in the organization and in the country as well. I have good judgment and decision-making skills.
