• I am a qualified Social Worker of executing social work duties, dealing with child protection, counselling, and case management. Currently I’m working with the ZOE Empowers a child protection organization which have equipped me with skills such as - ability to use wide range of child counselling methods e.g. cognitive behavioral therapy, making decisions on child protection issues, building networks in the child protection field and to be proactive in line with child protection policies  Dealing with cases representing children in conflict with the law making sure that they got tried as juveniles not adults and made sure that they got proper rehabilitation services that would eventually help molding their personality away from crime, whilst Volunteering at ZOE Empowers

• As Child Protection Officer with the Simukai Child Protection Programme(SCPP), as from, June 2021 to December 2022 in Zimbabwe. I dealt with child abuse cases that included rape cases and required court representation for the abused. I collaborated with the police in gathering evidence, followed by counselling of the survivors of abused, Whilst working with the SCPP I also dealt with physical abuse cases e.g. flogging of minors in a manner that harms the child’s body, this then included placing the child in the place of safety removing him/her from the dangerous environment, getting him/her proper medical attention when needed. Further in recognition of the law cited in chapter 5:27 of the Zimbabwe’s children’s act which is the blueprint that guides all child protection activities to deal with case management, care work and ensures that the perpetrators of child abuse have received justified justice.I have a comprehensive understanding of ways to attain social justice for the underprivileged children and families.
