• ● Leading whole-school Modern Foreign Language (MFL) provision. Designing a robust and relevant curriculum meeting the needs of a wide range of learners, ensuring programmes were delivered in a timely manner across the academic calendar and troubleshooting issues informed by data analysis and feedback from stakeholders. ● Supporting a project to extend the school’s language provision to a greater number of students by training and developing non-specialist staff in Modern Foreign Language teaching. As the sole teacher of Spanish following the absences, I was able to increase the school’s national exam (GCSE) pass rate in Spanish by 18% compared with the previous year. ● Pastoral tutor of 30 students, monitoring their holistic progress across the school. Coordinated with local authorities and social services where necessary to ensure their development and safety both in and out of school. ● Co-launching and volunteering on the Female Youth Independence Programme to empower the most vulnerable girls and delivering Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) curriculum.
