• I worked for a year as a large and Small animal Consultant where I was involved in disease investigation,diagnosis and treatment in range of species domestic animals as well as perfoming routine surgeries like spays.I have also acquired skills in laboratory diagnosis of viral diseases and research for viral diseases of economic importance e.g Foot and Mouth Disease,Newcastle,Rabies and other re-emerging diseases.The techniques for diagnosis include serologicals techniques like ELISA,compliment fixation tests ,Haemaglutinationa /Haemaglutination inhibition tests,Molecular technniques e.g PCR,and Cell culture.I have acquired skills also in production of Newcstle disease vaccine.
